Bonsai Classes

Want to learn the art of Bonsai?

Classes operate for 12 weeks on a Saturday or Sunday and cover topics such as:

  • Week 1: Figs
  • Week 2: Slanting or Windswept
  • Week 3: Cascades - Full or Semi
  • Week 4: Forrest planting or Raft Straight / sinuous
  • Week 5: Informal Upright or Formal Upright
  • Week 6: Japanese Black Pine
  • Week 7: Two Tree, Twin Trunk or Multiple Trunk
  • Week 8: Root Over Rock
  • Week 9: Weeping or Broom
  • Week 10: Landscape
  • Week 11: Bunji
  • Week 12: Flower / Fruiting Tree

$240 for 12 weeks plus materials.

These practical workshops are hands-on where you do the learning and work.

Hurry as places are strictly limited to ensure each student has ample time with the tutor.
