Black pine stump help

1 year 8 months ago - 1 year 8 months ago #56456 by Liam
Hi everyone I’ve was lucky enough to purchase this black pine from Leong. Some of you might remember it. Correct me if I’m wrong Leong Ryan Neil styled it’s “ brother” RIP. I’m looking at styling it in March and just want to see what eceryone thinks I should do with this stump. I’m a little lost with it. I liked what Ryan did but not to sure it something similar would work. Any thoughts? I’ve attached some pictures of the front and back. Thankyou for your time.
Cheers Liam

Liam if you do a similar thing to what Ryan did
Please speak with Leong about timing of when to do this work and possibly doing in stages and not pushing the tree too far in one go
I would love to see a similar end result achieved and stay alive
Regards Adam

Hi Adam
Thanks for your reply. Don’t worry I don’t want to push it Im not in a rush at all. And wouldnt at all want it to die. I’ve had it now 3 yrs just letting it gain vigour and fertilizing at the right times to gain its strength for the styling. Was going to talk with Leong beforehand. Thankyou.

Would love to see a photo zoomed out a bit to see how much foliage you have
