Very difficult to give you ideas without showing us the structure.

All,

I am all ears on the identification of gender - I am of course hoping I did not miss seeing a petticoat or something.

Adam,

Thank you and I will bow to knowledge of such things however there was a time when I could see gender in the human species but it would seem much has changed in that area.

I think I’d be asking how do you know and does that make a difference?;)

Just being glib Rod, I figured that an explanation would be asked for and provided in due course.

Liam its hard to see the structure of the branches you have there but looks as though something along the lines of the Ryan pine
should definately be acheivable

Hi Adam funny enough when I sore the tree in person I went home to mine and the branching is more or less the same so the same shape can be achieved. I’m just not sure how to deal with the stump as it’s abit softens to the Ryan one but similar.
Cheers Liam

I think you would need to carve the stump much the same
But I would do the work in stages and at the appropriate season
Carve one season
Wire /bend another
The bending may need to be done over a couple of seasons
