Bonsai bench

1 month 3 days ago - 1 month 3 days ago #60695 by Shell
Just finished building my bonsai bench using recycled wood . Was originally going to be three level stand but settled for two as the Wife wanted the white planter box with the forest in front. Gotta keep the missus happy. Now time to convince her to let me build another 2 on either side of it

Here were the steps taken as pictured
Used 4x2 treated pine wood given to me from an old bed base.
Got some decking wood for $12 each from bunning which were able to be cut to 3 pieces with some left over
Used some decking oil left over from my other table projects
At the end costed me about $45 including some suitable screws

Good news the wife has sort of hinted at letting me build 2 more benches on either side if I could find some more free wood.

While the wife is away for a week. I took the opportunity to make 2 new benches on either side of the original bench. She doesn’t know and doesn’t approve it but I’m sure she will be happy with it as it’s more organised. I hope anyways. Now the fun part of organising the trees into place and spreading it out properly. I just quickly put them on for the mean time
