Bonsai sayings and advice

More of a prank than advice or saying but I have to say it worked a "pearler" this evening.
The old trick of snapping a twig while some serious bending during a demo or workshop, man at the critical moment of the bend of a 40 year old Juniper that Ash got from Mary Brisbane as a gift and Bjorn was winching a branch back for a new apex, SNAP!!, I snapped a piece a jin from the scraps pile, holy #### I think Ash and Bjorn's heart stopped. Bjorn has spoken out, "What was that?" and Ash has taken a breath and I nearly fell on the floor laughing.
Bjorn had to admit that trick had been played on him before and he had never fallen for it. He hasn't been to North Queensland before. Thankfully he has an Aussie sense of humour.

Just for fun while on a Bunnings run a few years back, thought I would ask the team leader in the plant section a question regarding Bonsai maintenance.... "I've heard they are difficult to care for?"I said. His very confident reply was,.... "Naaah! Who told ya that? They're no trouble at all mate. Just have 'em inside out of the hot sun and just give 'em a good mist with one of these sprayers a coupla times a week.... and don't worry.... if it dies, we'll replace it free of charge!
I said Thank you and walked away shaking my head.
I wasn't surprised by the answer, but terribly disappointed that this was the level of advice given out to poor innocent people wanting to give Bonsai a go. :(

A man bought a $6 three and a half year old starter. Then he said " Can you you give me a run down how I can style this tree and what it would be in the future" #@%$6&#@............. You are not very helpful, expert like you should be.........,,,,,,
Man oh man!!!!!!!!

I thought I was the only one who trolled the staff at bunnings, what a crack up.

To defy the laws of tradition, is a crusade only of the brave.
