Melaleuca 'Claret Tops'

1 year 8 months ago - 1 year 8 months ago #58884 by Anthony W
Another scene with 3 trees using 'claret tops' with the wind and rocks dictating movement.

Will take another image side on showing the middle rocks dramatics and will add little more tilt there...any way first set up with some tweaking to come,

Maybe this should be in the Penjing section JC ?

Here we go, a front image only tells half story most times, the side shot shows shows why the the far right tree is leaning and the middle tree changing directions with its trunk near hard up to the rock to make more room for its self and better light and exposure to the wind, the bigger rock and its mate playing a very important part to the integrity to the story...some thoughts out loud to explain the scene....cheers

Hi Anthony

Glad you pointed out in both Landscape and Water & Rock Penjing is best styled as 360-degree setting's.

This is where the added difficulty comes into play as you will notice in most of the shows the penjing are displayed so you can walk around them, unlike a bonsai that is up against a wall or screen.

Hi

I think for the pot to work they will need to be a lot taller to make it look more in scale unless you are using it for a training pot?
