Curling leaves on bougies

I think those two old codgers should stop telling R Rated Jokes, would make my hair curl if I had any
On a serious not maybe might be one of these.
Several insect pests attack bougainvillaea leaves, which results in leaf curling and wilting. ... Aphids are also associated with leaf curling in bougainvillaea. Swarms of these tiny insects suck sap directly from the plant's foliage, which causes them to become rigid and curl inward.
