Fig Defoliation

5 years 10 months ago #43105 by jp
Hello I have a 10 year old fig which I absolutely love. The totals tree is about 13 inches high and has many leaves. The leaves are about 5cms longWhat I would like to do is find out when is the best time to defoliate it so that the leaves come back thicker and smaller.

For some reason I can't attach a file so any tips on that would also be appreciated

Cheers

JP

Jp, first advise is maybe go back back and read about attaching photos, not being a smatar##, but I had to go through it a couple of times! trust me it ALWAYS helps.
Outside of that it also helps if we know where you are as seasons can differ even in our one big country.
All of that aside, you can be fairly safe defoliating now if the tree is healthy, but that info is based on the fact you've given us nothing to work with.
Information promotes information

Hey JP,
Looks like the file is a PDF file,
You might need to get the picture, save it as a JPEG and try upload again
