Sacrifice Branch Result

3 years 7 months ago #53951 by Rod Lovett
G'day all , I hope everyone is having a great easter. I thought it would be nice to share the result and benefits, of using sacrifice branches. Not only can they be used to fatten trunks, as in this case they can also be useful for fattening branches. We can also give branches taper.
I took the opportunity to clean this one up and to add a little wire. I am letting it grow more, before I decide the direction I will take as far as the carving.
I was originally worried it had to much deadwood.
Cheers Rod

Thanks JC ,I'm thinking it could be a nice tree with a little more growing. Mate I have done quite a lot of bonsai work this weekend, I've been working on a very large clero raft / bridge, and large Benji. No pics of them , on holidays ......maybe tomorrow .
Cheers Rod
