Hi Jerry, I find it amazing to look back at where they started, a root cutting I believe in this case (stick) wow, don t know what i was thinking at the time..let's see where next 5 yrs goes :) , but isn t that half the fun..cheers

I have to agree that so many of my better trees today came from modest stock. Today I would never have started with the material but
given time and a modest amount of skill they have come out pretty darn well.

Here is another little fella, this time from a cutting, got a lot more serious with it over the last couple of seasons especially when it threw a shoot low left, I could then see a plan.

Winter coat for now, trim again in spring and hopefully a nice pot...cheers

Thanks Jerry and Mark, I find the species easily my favourite for small to medium trees, tough with our harsh environment...dose not flinch in 40 degree
Celsius weather and that is serious heat, most resistant to pests and diseases and of course most appropriate leaf size...great material, don t know why I don t see more of it around the traps..hmmm
