ive had this tree for ages sitting on the ground doing nothing
the apex got snaped and it took years to grow so i needed to change
things up bit



here is where the apex snapped . it has a shoot but ill make it a
branch now



here is a virt, ill tilt it and make a new apex



today after potting , i will wait for a few months to let it settle
before i wire it

Hi Chad,

Cool box, I like the virt you have done for it too. As chook said, once you wire it, the basic structure is already there and its just a matter of wiring into place and then to fill out.

If you don't mind me asking mate, do you wire after repotting normally with your trees or before ? The reason I ask I had this come up in conversation with a good mate the other night and it has piqued my curiosity on it. It's nice to hear how people do it, if you get me.

normaly pot and then wire all the branches ,then take a pic
but no time lately to even water properly - forget any fertilizer
or weeding im doing it tough these days

this tree has had a lot of die [ants and other bugs] back but its starting to recover - in spring if
possible ill do a few thread/approach crafts to get some more branching if it doesn't back bud
after a repotting
